The Burlington Healthy Community Coalition helps support the following community programs:
YOUTH APPRECIATION DAY
This is free, fun family event sponsored by Burlington Parks and Recreation. This event is held annually on the Thursday of Spring Break at LU School.
Burlington Parks and Recreation partners with the Burlington Healthy Community Coalition and many other positive resource groups to provide this FUN day for our community!
Back-to-School Fair & Jamboree is a popular annual community event, sponsored by Burlington-Edison Education Coalition for Kids (BECK), which provides various organizations the opportunity to help Burlington students prepare for the upcoming school year. Look for more information coming!
Community awareness events and speaker forums provide important education to Burlington community members regarding substance abuse and violence prevention. More information about upcoming speakers and events will be posted here throughout the year.
